How do you connect to WYZE cam remotely from outside?
Simply tap the camera on the Devices screen. It should connect. If you are having trouble, first click the Support link at the top of this page, then Troubleshooting and see the Connectivity section.
It keeps saying connecting, but nothing is happening.
At the end i get this: Connection failed (error code 27)
Sorry, some posts I was tracking got lost in the transition to the new forum.
I would click the Support link at the top of this page and run through the troubleshooting section. If that doesn’t do it, and if you don’t get other help here from the community, file a support ticket, preferably from within the app while the bad camera is connected so that the logs are captured. You might want to submit the ticket right away because there’s somewhat of a backlog. You can always let them know it’s already resolved when they contact you.
My issue was a custom dns setting. I was using dns.google
This blocked my ability to see the cameras over cellular data.
I changed my dns settings back to automatic and the cameras work great over cellular.
Whazupman - Where were the settings you changed? Cell phone, router? I have the same problem trying to connect via cellular. Thanks!
Same issue here but fixed. Just change in “setting” under app, turn “cell data” on
