Antonius helped, YES the video is on the card. You have to pull it as the camera does not support playback for video shot without internet.
I own over 30 cameras. Bought latest in Black. I want to use as a dash cam on a boat, at the bow, have made a bracket. I have it setup to record to the SD card, continuous.
When I loose wireless connection it stops recording, when I get back in range it records again. As I type this I wonder is it on the SD card (didn’t check, formatted card). When I use the “View Playback”, there is nothing shown during the time internet is disconnected.
If the V3 looses the internet and you have it set to continuous record it should continue to record to the SD as long as it has power. Did you try to view the card on another device besides playback?
Even the cam that everyone hates, the battery powered WCO cam will record if the net goes down and you are doing scheduled event recording to the SD in the camera, I’ve done it numerous times on purpose.
Once the camera has internet, the recordings made during the internet outage can be played back via the app, I do that all the time. I have three Wyze cameras (V2, V3, & V3 Pro) in my truck that are all set for continuous recording. I routinely go back and watch video that was taken while on the road. The important part is to keep the camera powered. Even a momentary interruption of power to the camera and it will stop recording if it does not have Internet.
Of course, you can also pull the uSD card and play those recordings from a computer.
