Picture of QR code is on the screen asking me to scan MY QR code on the camera. I have tried everything including deleting and reinstalling a new WYZE app. I switched internet providers and have to set up each camera new and anyone that requires a QR code is now trash.
You hold your phone screen in front of the wyze cam while the cam is in setup mode. Try different distances until it scans. Make sure your phone screen isnāt zoomed.
FYI if you donāt want to set everything up again just put your old wifi name and password into your new ISPās router and everything should reconnect automatically.
No, the screen will not go into a scanning mode. I know how it is supposed to work but itās just says to āscan the QR codeā but there is this huge static pic of a QR code on the screen
Iām not following, a huge pic of a QR code is what you want. If the QR code seems too big/off screen or you canāt see other stuff you need to, like I mentioned disable zoom/scaling on your phone.
OK I guess the PanV2 must be different, the Panv3 I have (and the regular v3 from what I recall) you hold the QR code on your phone in front of the Wyze camera and the camera scans it. If the v2 has you scan the code from the bottom of the cam thatās different.
Check and make sure you definitely do not have zoom enabled on your phone. There is probably a button below it that says āscanā or something that will proceed past that screen?
It doesnāt say to scan the QR code on the bottom of your cam.
Scan the QR code displayed on your PHONE screen with your Wyze Cam.
When the QR code is displayed on your phone screen, hold your phone up to your Wyze cam so your Wyze cam can scan your phone screen.
iPhone should be set to default display to correctly show QR code. Display and Brightness > bottom of the page set to default.
OK Iām not losing my mind. Based on the response I figured maybe the old Wyze cams used that model (like Blink does) where you scan the QR off the camera, which is just a QR of the mac address. Maybe thatās the confusion as I believe a few other cam makers do it that way too.
