I recently purchased your equipment and professional monitoring service and encountered an obstacle during the app setup process that I feel could be improved.

It seems the email used for the purchase is currently required for activating the subscription in creating an account in the app and accessing professional monitoring features. I believe this restriction may not accommodate the diverse use cases of your customers. Many individuals use different emails for specific purposes—for example, one email for payments and another for communications or app accounts. Additionally, in situations where the equipment and subscription are purchased as a gift or for someone else, this requirement could create unnecessary complications.

I’d like to suggest implementing an activation code system tied to the subscription instead of requiring the purchaser’s email for setup. This code could be shared with the intended user, allowing them to associate their own preferred email address with the app. Such a change would provide greater flexibility and convenience for customers without compromising security or functionality.
