Problema recording motion events

For days now I have been having issues with one of our OG cams recording events. We have it outdoors pointed at an area at the side of our house where a feral cat we care for gets fed and we’ve put a shelter. Some motions trigger and get recorded, and some do not. For example, I just went into that area to pick up food bowls and it didn’t trigger a motion recording. All our event triggers and settings are correct and as have been for months, yet this is a new problem. I did turn detection sensitivity up to 100 per a Wyze troubleshooting article and it still has missed events like a person coming into the area. It has triggered some cat movements, but those are often cut off and new motion not captured. Is this a firmware update issue??

I have a OG indoors, that I had to completely shut notifications off on, because the recent app update is a joke for tick boxes of activity vs. notification. Redundant, and it does NOT do what you are expecting, so I received constant notifications for pretty much anything that moved, when all I wanted was notifications for humans, yet record the events with humans and pets.

I have a V3 pro that I also use to monitor feral activity and the same happens to me.
-Set on 100% sensitivity, but often only catches part of the movement. Sometimes none at all. For instance, cat comes into area, no recording or documenting, but it triggers and even and records when it leaves.
A lot of times i have to go to the SD card to see when the cat arrived (I am documenting which cats and times daily) and record that, which was a little annoying but worked fine until I updated to the most recent APP and firmware two days ago. I wont get into the separate issue of SD recording here, but yes, it makes you skeptical that events are actually being recorded. And for me at least, going through the SD card now is ridiculously not user friendly anymore, let alone recording from it accurately and smoothly.
