I have a wall switch that controls my porch lighs. I have been fighting with the automation for months now. All I want it to do is turn on at night and then off in the morning.
I have tried the sunrise to sunset and its just all wrong so I now have deleted all automation and set to come on at 7:30pm and off at 5:30am.
But what it does is turn on at 4:00pm and off at 5:30am.
Now if I go to the switch after it turns on at 4pm and turn it off it will then come on at the correct time later in the evening at 7:30pm.
So my assumption is something else is turning it on at 4pm other than my one and only automation that is programmed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome @jeff.goodpaster
Can you provide a screen shot of the automation so the community can offer insight?
Also note: On the Wyze Switch in the settings area, there is a schedule option. you can go into that location and set a schedule for on and off as well. No need to use automations. You may have that set which will cause the issue you are experiencing. You can clear the schedule if one exists and use the automation or delete all automations for the switch and user the schedule settings. Personally, I would use the schedule option.
I found the problem. What i did ws delete the automation completely. And wait to see if the light came on.
It did so I figured it wasn’t my app doing it. Decided to look at the wife’s phone and found there was a schedule on her phone all this time messing me up. So deleted her schedule and all is good now.
Thanks for your support.
