Please help retreaving an entire day of recording, App is not working and messy

Is it possible to ask for entire day recording? the videos are not showing in the app. used to have the first version but now i have the pro. the sd is fine, everything looks normal, and seams that it is working propertly. the playback is up to 14 days, and I 16 days ago days ago. also it is not continuous, it shows only motion recordings.

Can you please read what you wrote and edit so we can understand what you are trying to achieve.

As Habib said, it’s really hard to tell what you are asking for. If you need a full day worth of recordings, the only practical way to do that is to pull the SD Card from the camera and plug it into a computer. Dump all the files (1 per minute) to a computer and use one of several available programs to stitch them together. This depends on having a SD Card in the camera and having it set to continuous recording.

Not only practical but the ONLY way as there is no continuous recording on the cloud.

I have many Wyze cameras and have also suggested to friends and family that these are the ones to buy. I am rethinking my advice

I have SD cards installed in all cameras. However, for some reason, change of software, etc. the playback has become impossible with SD cards. Whether this is intentional is the question?

I wish I could go back to an app version that allows me to easily bounce back and forward through recordings that I want to view. The latest updates just make it very difficult or impossible to see what has been happening!

Not sure what to tell you as don’t have any issues viewing SD card recordings on any of my cameras. I know that many users have reported the issue and I don’t think it is by design. I have a feeling that somewhere along the numerous app and firmware updates some of the code got mangled up. The million dollar question remains, will Wyze be able to pin point and reverse the issue.

Do you know if there’s any way to load an old version?

Recently I have purchased a few cameras from another company and they make it VERY EASY for you to look at recorded material, on the SD card, for a long way back - basically whatever your SD card holds.

By the way, the cameras are from a well known company and are a great price!

You can grab older versions of the app from here. Unfortunately there is no such an option for iOS.

I am moving to another product.

Wyze has made it difficult to stay with their products. They have made the user interface very difficult to view past events.

Wyze hits me with their ads for Cam Plus at every turn in their app.

Sad.

I guess ‘bottom line’ has become more important than customer satisfaction.

I don’t blame you a bit and I share your sentiment. If I was having issues I would definitely move on to a product that would fit my needs.
