There are some reports within the forum of notifications malfunctioning under CP but not CPL.

Notifications suddently stopped working without any config changes

V3 not receiving notification while connected to cam plus

It’s been 4 weeks on an open help ticket my V3 will not receive notifications while subscribed to cam plus. it worked fine until about a month ago. It records event but will not send notification. Moving it back to cam lite the notifications work. If you have time to fill my inbox with products for sale you need to take the time to resolve this issue I and others are having with cam plus

CamPLUS+Cam3 Notifications Buggy (Found a Workaround Fix)

I have the same issue - motion notifications don’t work, but in my case it’s when Cam Plus is assigned to the camera. For me the only way to get motion notifications to work is to turn off Cam Plus completely. Turning off notifications for AI events and leaving motion events on was not sufficient to make it work. It has been broken this way for at least a month, which is when I wanted this functionality. I reported it to support just now, will see how long it takes to fix it.
