Hello Devs !! First love the whole Wyze universe and the ease of the devices that we have, but with everything the good has the bad, but in this case the only bad is for the Wyze Cam V4. I really could use a PIP, so I can continue to monitor the cam while I’m doing something else and not be “locked” into the app just to view the cam. We all have pretty chaotic days once in a while and not being able to have PIP makes it a little more chaotic.
Thank you for what you’ve all been doing and keep up the good work, please make this possible with OTA update fast!!
This feature already exists for Cam v4 and some other Wyze Cams. While on the Cam’s Live Stream screen, you can tap the live view pane to show the on-screen overlay controls for the Cam. In the upper-right corner is an icon to rotate the Cam into landscape view (from portrait), and just to the left of that is the PiP icon, which you can tap to pop out a Picture-in-Picture experience for that Cam while you use other apps on your phone. If that’s not working, then you can check the Wyze app’s App info ➜ Advanced ➜ Picture-in-picture to see if that’s allowed or to enable it, if necessary. This may depend on which versions of the Wyze app and Android you’re using.

Additionally, you’re welcome to vote (there’s a button above the initial post) and comment in Wishlist topics like Picture-in-Picture (PiP) Feature, though I’m going to ask an Admin about the status of that particular topic, because it seems largely granted at this point.
