PC Access to my Wyze Cameras

Top priority for me is the ability to view my 8 Wyze cams on a internet connected PC & ChromeBook (via web browser or Wyze software app) so I hope you are working diligently on that feature.

Would also like to see a weatherized housing option that would allow the wyze cam to safely be placed outside.

Need the ability to use the 5Ghz band on my B/N/AC router as well as the the 2.4Ghz band.

Outdoor/Weatherproof Wyze Cam

We’ve been working on the outdoor camera with our manufacturer! We’re still in the design phase though so we don’t have any dates or promises to give yet. Some people have requested solar power but we probably won’t be able to make that work with the first version. We are investigating battery power though. Best, WyzeGwendolyn

Support 5GHz wifi band for Wyze Devices

Add 5GHz wifi support to the wifi module in Wyze Devices in addition the current 2.4GHz wifi. This would involve a pretty major hardware redesign and there are not currently any plans to implement this. MOD NOTE 2022-11-24: Title and body changed to include all Wyze devices. (At the time this was originally submitted, there were not any devices except cameras.)
