Hi, I have an SDCard in my camera but when I try to play past events it just shows the live view and pretend to be loading an event even if I scroll across the playback timeline. The view is only live and not recorded content. I had the CamV3 in the past and recall this to be working fine so I’m not sure if it’sa app version bug or camera related
Welcome to the Forum, @beachb_sl!
I don’t have a Cam v3, but I understand that it uses the “old” UI, whereas Cam Pan v3 (which I do have) uses the “new” UI. With that camera, I have Settings ➜ Advanced Settings ➜ Record to MicroSD Card set to Continuous, and then on the main Live Stream screen of the camera I tap the SD Card icon to get to the timeline and watch events by scrolling the timeline there, so what I wonder about is this:
- Is that what you’re doing in terms of getting to the microSD card timeline for Cam Pan v3?
- Does your timeline show a vertical green stripe on the right side, indicating that the camera has been recording to microSD?
- If you see the stripe, is it continuous or broken?
- How do you have microSD recording configured in your settings?
- Are you certain that the camera recognizes the microSD card and is recording to it? If you navigate to Manage MicroSD Card, does that screen show that the correct card capacity is being reported and that space on the card is being used by recordings?
There’s been an issue with some Cam Pan v3s showing a message that it isn’t even recognizing an inserted microSD card whenever someone tries to play back from an event, but I don’t think that’s what you’re describing, so I think that sharing more details about what you’re experiencing might help others here to provide some assistance.
