Cam Pan V4 never returns to exact home position after tracking a moving object. This creates a problem for the notification zone. Since the camera is close to the road I have the zone set so traffic doesn’t set it off all the time….BUT as soon as someone or something is in the driveway and makes the camera move to track it…it never returns to the exact home position. Now the traffic starts to trigger notifications, one after the other. I can go to edit the home position and press calibrate and now the camera returns to the exact home position that I setup and works correctly. WHY??? Seems like anytime it moves, it never goes back to the exact Home Setting.

Yep again today…..I’m surprised that more are not noticing the same issue.
Same, I have to reset the waypoints if I want to to pan again. But if I have the tracking on, it breaks it. It’s like it doesn’t recognize its “Y” axis rotation for waypoints / home. It pans nicely from right to left (X axis). But it never resets the Y axis (up down).
Very frustrating. I bought this one to replace my V3 that decided the SD card slot was broken. I was hoping that the “AI recognition” would be good for this thing but man am I disappointed.
Now that you mention it….it is always the Y axis. Left to right always comes back to home but the Y axis Up and Down is ALWAYS too high. Hopefully someone reads this and maybe a microcode will fix it???
