Pan Cam V3 turning around 180 degrees by itself. When I use the app to turn it around it says ‘you have reached the end’. I’ve reset, restarted, reinstalled, manually moved it to where it needs to be. All x2. Any suggestions?
Do not manually turn the cam with your hand. Any time you do that, you need to do “reset motor” or reboot the camera so it can recalibrate.
Do you have track motion or pan/scan enabled? When does it turn, note that swiping on the picture will move the camera, and sometimes if the wifi signal isn’t great, people will tap the movement buttons several times (or hold them) which when the commands finally reach the camera, they process all at once and it seems to move a lot on its own.
Need a bit of clarification though.
As mentioned, more information about what you’re experiencing (frequency, under what conditions, what settings you have configured on the camera, etc.) is necessary to understand what’s happening.
What did Support say when you contacted them? What happens if you recalibrate the camera’s position by navigating to Settings ➜ Advanced Settings ➜ Motor Controls ➜ Reset Position ➜ Reset?
