Pan V3 acting funky - turned to the back and stayed there

So my cam just spun around and stopped right at the point of installation. Since I’m a new user, I am unable to upload the video right now.

Do you have track motion enabled (sometimes they will track into a wall following some light or a reflection)? Or maybe you tapped the controller too many times or held it down? Does anyone else have access?

Reboot it, could have just been a fluke.

Camera Returns the the backwood position even if I manually turn it around. Tried resetting the waypoint. And the home position.
I have the same problem.

Manually turning the camera by hand doesn’t do anything, it has no idea you did that, in fact it can make things worse.

Some have reported from time to time that the base can end up getting turned in the mount if the screw gets loose, so may want to check that. If you reboot the cam and let it go through its calibration, it should stop with the plug facing back right before it returns to the last position it was facing. If it isn’t doing that, the gears may have slipped inside.

Another way to check is if the plug is facing backward, you should be able to use the app to turn the cam almost all the way backward in both directions. If you can do that, then physically the camera is fine, and you may just need to reset it.
