Pan Cam V3 ? No longer for me!

Sadly Wyze is letting me down again. I’ve bought over a dozen cams (20+) since indoor Wyze Cam V2, over a decade ago.

This “SD card not available” msg. on two different outdoor Pan Cam3’s, blows my mind.

I’ve tried : Restarting the App, the camera too (reset, rebind & restart), Deleting the Cam as a device. I use San Disk class 10’s on all cams from GB 32-256. Never had a single failure. (Over a decade +)

Pan Cam 3 works fine. No water damage. Our winters are now milder ( 2° to 39+ F @ night). Summers spent in the shade, before it gets too hot (50-90°+ in shade only).

No damage, it’s placed up high (9-10’ Ft.)
Internal Storage & Playback is a great selling point. Cloud storage can only do so much.

Is this a 2024 update issue ? Can I rollback to 2023 ? (Just my Pan Cam 3’s)

Just got finished chatting with “The Wizard”.
They told “Dorothy” & I, that her Ruby Slippers come with a 1 yr warranty ???

Buying another Pan Cam or Cam Brand is foolish.
We should have a “Slightly flawed,”, “Trading Post” for good, yet minor flawed equipment. (eBay?)

If so, how do I 'factory reset" mine for a second chance “Somewhere over the Rainbow” ???

How are you trying to access SD card?

There is a known bug with the app right now where if you try to view a clip from the “events” tab it will give an error (either no SD card or failed to read from SD card). But if you tap an event on the camera’s main page at the bottom, or go to the SD card from that page, both should work.

If you roll back to an old app version (pre October 2024) using apkmiror or similar it should eliminate the bug above, if that’s the one you’re seeing.

That’s the only bug I see on my Panv3s right now with the latest app and firmware.
