Pan Cam v3 Manual Movement Control Goes Haywire

Anyone else having the issue?

I am having issues with manually moving the v3s, tapping the navigation button multiple times which should move the cams a limited distance. Instead it causes the cams to rotate all the way the stopping point, or just shy of the privacy mode position, or pointing straight down.

I did have this issue in the previous version of the app.

Anyone else having the issue? Is there anything I can do to repair it?

I am having the same issue. I have reset cameras Powered down and rebooted examined camera for power coed fouling mechanisms removed all set points but I still have the issue you mention. Especially with horizontal movement changing camera postion to straight down.

I have latest firmware 4.50.5.0578 two bars on wifi signal with lowered resolution 360 for live view. Activation was 4/8/2023.

Has anyone else has this issue or have a solution is this a defective unit?

If you’ve had to lower your resolution due to poor wifi signal, the control signals are also being impacted. If you tap the arrow and it doesn’t move, you have to wait, it will eventually. If you keep tapping, all those taps will get queued and when they make it to the camera, it will make a much further move than you expected.

I’m using the latest app and firmware on my v3s and no issues with it moving too much. However one that is on the edge of my wifi range (but still does 1080P) sometimes I do see a delay between tap and move and just have to be patient.
