Yes it was connected previously…and has been deleted from app. Replaced with newer model last year, But now I would like to use it for a new temporary need.
Never heard of this. Why would Wyze allow this to happen? Never heard it mentioned as warning, etc on user instructions. Will any other wireless Wyze cams work with this base?
I have said for years that their should be a warning about deleting cam or base. The information is hidden here: I think it should be in the setup instruction received with the camera. The only cams that work with the base are the WCO version one or version two.
I’m curious to know more about this. The instructions state to remove from app as part of the troubleshooting. I had 3 WVOD1 cams that had lost power. I charged them, but they wouldn’t reconnect. After multiple base/router/modem resets I deleted them from the app. Then today I called customer service. They walked me through the same steps, In the end they told me that the devices no longer work. I could have bought that logic if it were 1 camera - but not all 3.
