I have three OG cams that I just have on occasionally .
Do not have subs just use sd cards. After the update to these cams
when viewing video take a long time to get from sd card ,and when viewing stop and start and skip.
I tried changing from vents only to continuous and removed motion tagging. Neither made any change.
The micro sd cards are Scan disk 32gb formatted as FAT.
I use to have 2 cam pam V3’s but those quit seeing the sd cards shortly after the warranty expired .
Not sure if there is a fix or not, but just want to be able to use the sd cards in the cams only once in awhile.
It seems as if you don’t have any of the services they just don’t work as well. Is their better cams that just record to the sd card with out connecting to a host server?
This has been an ongoing issue with the OGs unfortunately. I think it happened after an app update, as when I use my old phone with the 2.5 app, browsing the SD card is back to normal.
If you open a ticket and send logs it may help them move it up on the priority list.
In the meantime I’ve found that sometimes using the arrows (1 min skip) or 30 second skips seem to be faster, as does using event pictures to navigate to that spot.
You can get it off apkmirror and other similar sites, but it is gradually losing compatibility, some cams won’t work at all with it and others have glitches. But so far the OGs are still working fine with it.
You can also get earlier 3.x versions too, I’m not sure exactly which version changed it, probably can find it here in the forum somewhere. But those older 3.x version are going to start having issues with newer cams too (already won’t work with the latest firmware on a couple of them).
If all you have are OGs you should be fine, and can probably go with that version you’ve confirmed working.
