Once again, after this last major update notification sounds are messed up. Of the three sound options in the app settings, only one actually results in that sound being produced on actual notifications. The other two options result in notifications using other random sounds already in my Galaxy S20 that were not options.
In other words, I don’t hear the sound I picked and set in app settings.

Agree. I cannot choose a sound…whatever I select, the default seems to override my selection and it’s the same sound as an SMS which is annoying.

This topic might shed some light on the situation:
I never have been able to use any of the Wyze sounds for notifications. My impression from reading the Forum is that some users have been able to do so but that it may depend on what version/flavor of Android one’s device(s) use(s). For me, it’s seemed broken for so long that I just used Android system settings to control the notification sound, but I learned from responses in the topic I linked above that some Android(-ish) variants can’t do even that (it’s device-manufacturer-dependent).
