I have 4.9.5.17 and 4.10.5.17 and stopped receiving event notifications. So far this morning there have been 37 events, since 8AM, and not a single notification.
BTW, I am in a rural area, and these are for 2 cams, with sound and motion sensitivity turned down as low as they will go.
iOS?
FYI - I’m getting them on Android with the newest firmwares and beta app.
Double check that the “Bell” icon on the top right of the home screen does not have a line through it? That one gets me all the time.
I’m on Android as well, with the latest updates.
Nope, no line. And this just started today, with 4.9.5.17 that was installed late last night.
I know it sounds lame but I always do this myself, about 1/4 of the time it works. Restart your phone and the cameras.
I’ll restart the phone. That was just done day before yesterday. But I’m at work, and the internet connection is funky. I’ll have to reboot the cameras when I get home tonight, when I’m on my own network again.
Since you are on the Beta app and firmware, I would recommend submitting feedback and logs through the app so the devs may be able to fix the issue you are seeing.
I would love to do that, but I don’t see a place in the app to do so. Can you direct me?
Here ya go! However, there is a caveat. The instructions at that link are intended for the public version of the app. When submitting feedback from the beta app, it is sent to the developers, and NOT support. You will receive a ticket number, but the developers won’t respond to the ticket. This is in contrast to submitting via the public app where it is support that actually sees the submission.
Please let me know if you have any more questions.
I am, likewise, on iOS. As of today, I have stopped receiving any push notifications for events. My cameras all connect to the app, I have restarted all of them, I have restarted my phone. The events trigger recordings as they should, I just do not get notified of the events.
Did you get your notifications working? I am having this also, just stopped receiving notifications, if so, what was your fix?
