I am running Wyze v3.3.0 (609) on a OnePlus9 with Android 15.
I don’t receive ANY notifications from the Wyze app. I’m not receiving in-app or push for any of my cameras, doorbells, or door sensors. I have all turned on in the app and it is running in the background. Additionally, notifications are enabled on the phone.
This is a necessary feature - especially for those of us who have a need to have our home monitored. I’m become progressively disgusted with Wyze. In addition to this, my battery cam pros don’t stream live video.
I have submitted NUMEROUS logs and there has been no resolution or fix.
I failed to mention I receive push notifications from every other app on my phone.
I would try uninstalling the app and then reinstall it (this will clear any cache or data issue interfering with this).
I would also try toggling the app system notification off and then back on to force it to re-initiate in the system:
Long press the app icon on your home screen, select app info, select notifications, toggle everything off, then toggle it back on.
I’ve already done all those suggestions.
Presumably you used to get notifications in the past?
You could try uninstalling the app and sideloading an older version of the app from APK mirror and see if that resolves the issue.
You can also check the Background activity settings for the Wyze App.
Did you try to clear data/cache and restart your phone?
There has to be something in the phone or phone settings causing the conflict or else another app that is conflicting with it somehow. I watch posts on the forums, Discord, Reddit, X, etc, and this isn’t something happening to other people. If I were in your shoes I would at least temporarily try switching to the v2.5 app and see if notifications start up again, then see if you can update from that to restore to the newer version and keep it running.
Yes. My notifications were working fine in the past. The notification problems began with the most recent update.
I’ve tried clearing cache and memory, uninstallimg and reinstalling the app, signing out and back in, rebooting the phone, and every trick I found online - except rolling back the app. It isn’t just push notifications, either. I’m not receiving in-app notifications.
Update:
Somehow, my app notifications -only for Wyze, though, was set to silent. How this happened, I don’t know. I’ve returned everything to the way I like it so we’ll see if I get notifications.

That’s good you found it! I was trying to rack my brain of what else it could be. I knew it had to be some setting. It’s weird that it stayed silenced even after you uninstalled the app. How interesting that your phone remembered that even after you deleted it.
Let’s hope that fixes everything for you!

So, would you be coming back to offer a re-traction for your disgust with Wyze since you discovered it was your mistake? Or you just going to leave your rant out here and not own your responsibility to knowing your tech?

I can report that the app still isn’t sending notifications. I noticed that a WyzeBand and WyzeWatch have appeared in my “Notification, read and control” settings as well.
For those finding this by search: I have found a fix (for my experience).
The problem was with the firebase cloud messaging (FCM). Google Play Services (apps → see all → 3 dot menu to top right → show system → scroll down to Google Play Sercices) controls FCM. Despite having cleared the storage and cache (Storage and cache) several times and not.resolved the problem, I noticed data was being stored immediately afterward. On a lark, I cleared cache and then repeatedly and immediately cleared storage (3-4 times). After having done so my notifications returned.
