This has been a long on going issue since the WCO cameras. Browser users cannot get audio on event clips from battery powered wyze cams. However, audio works fine in live view. Seen a lot of great improvements on the web portal sector. Mini preview, multiwindow live view… all are great features we use daily. But I feel this audio issue shouldn’t be neglected. This should be a relatively simple task for the web view team.
I will let the team know about this and see what they can do.

Is there an update on this matter? Do the newer battery cams support audio for web view users?
I get audio when I play events from both Solar Cam Pan and Battery Video Doorbell in Web View.
Thought this web view audio problem probably was just a backend issue. But if the newer battery cams are supported I guess I’ll just have to switch cameras. Thanks for letting me know.

You’re welcome. I really have no idea what the specific issue is with this, but I wanted to try to answer at least one of your questions with my own experience. I don’t have any Battery Cam Pros, so I can’t speak directly to that.

I agree why isn’t there any sound for events I have so many devices and I can’t get sound out of any of them
The Wyze Cam Pan V3 also can’t get audio on web view. Originally thought it was just an issue for battery cams. Will this ever get resolved?
