I have the same issue and it is not new… Chrome, Edge or FireFox allow sound on some cameras but not others. I found if I go look at the event, it has sound for playback or I just open the app on my phone and it works fine.
Just scrap Web View if you’re not going to fix it. Its so frustrating that I just don’t use it anymore, and it was the only reason I subscribed to CamPlus. Every time I open the website it redirects me to the Wyze sales page first so I have to open it twice. Then it sends me an email every time I log in, no option to remember me for a month, or a week, or even a day. Add to that all CamPlus events have no sound!? And the icing on the cake, I can’t control my Pan cams. I understand it’s in Beta, but almost 4 years later and all the issues are still there. If I didn’t have 10 cameras that I spent hours installing I would just sell them all and spend more on a functioning ecosystem. Please, with sugar on top, work on these main issues so my lazy butt doesn’t have to go pull all these camera down. I’ll even subscribe to CamPlus Unlimited if you fix at least 2 of these main problems (event sounds and Pan cam control). end rant
[Update] I tested my setup again today and can now hear audio in both Live View and Events View from my Wyze Cam v3. I am using a Cam Plus license, and it works in both Edge (version 145.0.3800.82) and Chrome (version 145.0.7632.160).
