I set up a Sense Hub with a Motion Sensor V2 and a Wyze Cam v3 and k can’t get the Sense Hub or the Motion Sensor to show up in the Monitoring actions for “Away” or “Home”. My ideal situation is the motion sensor would trigger the alarm on the Hub, but only the camera shows up. I signed up for Cam Unlimited and I’m still in the trial. I reset the hub and nothing changed.
Just to clarify, did you already have a previous sense hub and for a second one or a replacement, it only has this as your first and only hub?
Did you activate the home monitoring service subscription? (Go to account tab, services and see if it shows the HMS anywhere). If you don’t have it activated, then that’s the problem. Did you ever go through setup for the HMS?
Do You have cam unlimited or cam unlimited Pro? The pro version is not compatible with the HMS service for sensors, but the regular unlimited is.
Cam Unlimited. I didn’t set up HMS and I don’t see any indication of how to do this. If I go to the Services tab, just Cam Unlimited shows up and no options to add anything
Ok I figured it out. I had to login on a computer, buy the HMS service there, it sent me an activation email which essentially put a coupon code into another order form, required my credit card number again. What a journey.
