New white bulb won't complete firmware update or stay connected

Brand new white bulb won’t complete firmware update or stay connected. The other one that came in the same box is working fine. What should I do?

I have deleted it and re-added it several times, same result.

OK, the answer is (was) if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. And again. And again. And one more time, just for the heck of it. It finally went through and seems to be OK (knock wood).

I was gonna say the same thing. I had an existing bulb that wouldn’t update. I tried from within the device on the app then from the Account page for bulk update (even though it was the only one needing an update). Even deleted it and added back in and no luck. Eventually, it did. Glad it worked out.
