that’s interesting because the specs on the actual plugs say 2A, which is plenty.
Now I have to APOLOGIZE to everyone for I realized why one of my two cameras kept failing. It’s on a extension cord with two other and when I re-ran the cables I ended up plugging the pan 4 into a 1 amp power supply which was therefore a standard V4, not the pan cam. so it was not connected to the proper 2A power supply. So all the troubleshooting conclusions were accurate, unfortunately it’s because it was plugged into a lower powered supply.
MY MISTAKE, my screw up! I APOLOGIZE for causing anyone to run around in circles… lesson learned though, make sure you use the 2A power supply that came with any pan camera, because the motor does require more power, and on a 1A supply it will dip the voltage while the motor is running and cause your camera to disconnect almost every time.
with 8 WYZE cameras wired up to my house +2 from another vendor, my cables got mixed up. ![]()
