We’re still trying to understand why Google Play Store isn’t allowing the new version of the Wyze app to install on some phones. One of the Forum Mavens has indicated that updates on the situation might be forthcoming in another topic.

In the meantime, you could try downloading and installing a current or previous version of the Wyze app from a site like APKMirror or APKPure. Another Maven provided detailed instructions for retrieving and installing an older version of the app from APKMirror in another topic.

I have a samsung A11 ( running android 10).

App still works *(?) With no camera connection or playback . (Error msg switch cam to 369 mode) ?

Which version of the wyze app is just below, v3 ?

I am hating, absolutely hating the new updated version of the wise cam app. I was able to make choices from the main screen, now you’ve created three tabs and now I feel like I’m all over the place. You have destroyed the app.

I didn’t create the Wyze app. I’m just a Wyze user like you. The 3.x Wyze app works for me. I just had to relearn how to use it.

Do you actively use all three tabs? Do you modify your automations fairly regularly? How do you use the tabs?

Once i set my favorites layout and groups on the favorites tab, i’ve never had to visit the device tab unless i add a new device. I havent had to visit my automations tab, formerly rules menu since i set my rules up long ago. Sine the update, ive used the favorites tab maybe 95% of the time.

I created a new post for this, but there is a bug that makes 3.0 unusable for me. When I record a video it only stores a picture in my gallery…until I reboot my phone, then the video is there. That doesn’t work for me.
