I’m not sure why that question was directed at me. I assume it’s a mistake (one I’ve probably made and am likely to make again). 
I agree that the installation should be fairly straightforward, and instructional videos are helpful.

You just keep stacking up the reasons why a Cam Floodlight is a better option in this case.

Since the Cam Floodlight Pro will have bare wires for connecting to the wiring in the junction box, using an old electrical cord will provide an easy way to temporarily wire this in your kitchen (or whererever is a convenient place to work that’s close to your wireless access point and/or otherwise has a good signal) so that you can set it up and test it to make sure everything’s working as expected before you have to get up on a ladder. If you need to do any resets or troubleshooting—or if you find out that your product has a defect and you might need to return or replace it—then this will make the job much easier.
