The subscription ties to your account and not to the camera. What I would do is the following:
Remove Cam Plus from the Camea
Remove the Camera from your account
set it up on your daughters account and then add a new Cam Plus subscription to her account. After you do that, you can select the camera to assign the new Cam Plus subscription to.
If you do this, your Cam Plus will be available for another camera on your account.

I am having this same problem with my wyze outdoor cam. I get theough the setup process until it has me name the device, but no matter what i try, it says “operation failed” and will not let me complete setup. Please help! Thanks!
Same issue here, with my Wyze Outdoor v2 camera. I’ve had these for years and have never had this issue.
Bought a replacement cam 2 weeks ago and it quickly connected. The new one I bought within the last week says the connection was successful but when I go to name it it says operation failed. Yet the camera shows up in the app - it says it’s not connected to a base station though.
I’ve attempted this over 10 times in the last 2 days, tried the usual modem and base station reboots, no luck.
If you are facing the same issue, What i did to resolve mine was at the device name setup screen. I used xx, yy and zz to name it and click save multiple times. and also pressed the Sync button on the Wifi Transciever of the Wyze Outdoor cam.
As soon as I did this and closed the app on my smartphone and reopened. It started livestreaming.

I actually heard from Wyze yesterday in the customer service chat that “several customers are having the same issue”. They are looking into it. If your fix doesn’t work I will bug them again in a few days.
Same problem both Outdoor Cams - they register, accept the cam plus activation but “operation failed” for naming. Is this being resolved manually in your DB by device MAC for the time being? I sure hope not.
Canceling my wyzz cam plus subscription…im on my 3rd outdoor cam.nothing but problems.
Got 1 as a gift and gor no email back about returning it… cam just 1 day failed to turn on at all and it wont charge or work.
Now i got another brand new cam i bought and it the wyzz outdoor cam fails to accept name on last step to FINISH wyze set up.
So frustrated…the new update seems to have caused major issues.
If this isnt fixed in 48hrs im going to buy all RING cams and leave a horrible BBB bette businesses bureau review since this company doeent care about its customers and has inept at best service.
I am having the same exact problem with the same exact error code with the same exact outdoor camera. I hope they find a solution for this like they have with some other cameras who had the same issue early in the year.
Sorry if this sounds dumb, but I do not have an sd card and it was my understanding you needed one to do that. Any help is appreciated and thank you for the suggestion!
