Let me add another failure to the list. This is not a good first user experience. Wyze Video Doorbell Pro. Right now it’s a dumb doorbell. And the fact that I have to remove it each time to do the add device process is super annoying.

I was just trying to set up a new camera and same issue, operation fails when naming device. I’ve cancelled, closed app and retried 4 times with no luck. I have a Wyze camera OG

Same problem. OG says operation failed when i try to name it. I have four other cameras working fine right now on this network. Figured I’d post to see if they offer us a fix.

Having the same issue, just got my doorbell today, support has been less than helpful. I’ll give it a day and return it tomorrow.

Glad I found this thread after resetting on my end multiple times. Trying to setup Doorbell Pro and also failing at the Naming Stage. Will stay tuned for an update!

Same issue with OG camera, won’t let you name. I also have a new V3 and it worked when I set it up after OG wouldn’t.
Solutions please? Have reset and tried several times.

I’m having the exact same issue right now with my Wyze Doorbell Pro. I have reset routers closed app and retried 5-6 times. I keep getting the operation error at the naming part
