My.wyze.com/live fail but the iphone app shows live cameras

On my PC, most of my cameras show “Web connection failed” reconnect or Submit a log. However at the same time my iphone is connected live to my cameras? Weird.

Web View loops out from your network to Wyze servers and back to your web browser. The live view to your cameras is local connection unless you are on cel or guest network or something. Check your outbound connection.

Thanks for this, I had no idea. I can add that with my 5 cameras 3 are failing. I have not checked back enough to see if they start working from time to time or if others fail and then start to work. - Thanks for the info and reply

You are welcome! What are your upload speeds?

100mb up & 110 down. Im familiar with chatter, latency and rebroadcasts, but in this case UDP. - Pretty clean network for the most part. No voice is garbled at the time. (teams)

Try viewing with just 2 or 3 cams, if it improves it may be a limitation of your browser/PC. There have been other discussions here with people finding that their particular setup can only handle “x” number of cams at a time and they have to open another browser window or tab so they can divide it up.

Personally, I find Web View flaky. It is to dependent on internet quality as I’m guessing it gets routed through different servers to reach the destination. Some times there isn’t much we can do about it.

That limits how many cameras you can stream with Web View, especially if you have 2K cameras like the V4. habib nailed it.

On the the LAN, the upload speed is many times over, that’s why you don’t experience it on the app.

His upload speed is more than enough to stream dozen of cameras or more. The problem is quality of internet especially if he’s on cable.

Each cam (even the 2K ones, they added more compression to them) streams about 1Mbit/sec so no issues with 100M upload speed.
