Doing nothing?

What, you don’t ever drink water?

Plus he’s putting his saliva in the water so all other critters who drink therefrom will Share and carry his DNA.

OK so he (MFP) is also getting some DNA from the wonderful :raccoon: that both put it’s front paws in the water and then had a drink before MFP came along. Now that MFP is part of the good crowd maybe he will change his lazy ways.

When did this happen? Is he growing on you?

And what if he likes his bad boy reputation?

He does amuse me. i just can’t believe how many hours he hangs around just drinking water during his daily/nightly transits, he must have a 10 gallon tank.

Talk about coincidence. I’m watching that episode as I’m seeing your post. I’ve seen it at least 3 times. George shows his negotiating skills:rofl::rofl::joy::joy:

Sitcom synchronicity!

Another scene popped to mind but more obscure and I’d forgotten how filthy the ‘dialogue’ is :astonished:

A storefront ‘Weeds & Water.’

Ok, this is off topic, BUT I am a huge Kevin Smith fan. Clerks is such an underrated film. Cult classic for sure. I went to Kansas City when he went on tour with Red State. I had front row tickets. The Westboro Baptist people were protesting outside. Then during the Q&A a former member of the WBC was in the audience and he interviewed her.

Out of respect for your opinion I watched it again last night. First time in thirty years.

To be fair, you should watch the whole film before you judge it. Which is a challenge but gets easier the further you make it.

(Like life) many will never make it to the end.

Silent Jay Bob (because Smith wrote both parts but Jay ad libs some):

C’mon Seinfeld, let’s get the :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: outta this :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: gyp joint with this :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: Dante, you :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: smoker.

The script is online.

I remember a reviewer (Ebert, or maybe Siskel) saying they would sometimes re-watch and re-review a film after a period if their initial reaction had been especially ‘reactive’ (dismissed it with verve.)

Respect.

What do you admire most about Smith?

I just like that he seems like a regukar guy. I like his sense of humor. I like that he is willing to take chances and make stuff because HE likes it (speaking specifically about Tusk). I used to be an avid listener of his podcast, and remember when he came up with the idea for Red State and Tusk.

He’s a story teller. I could listen to him talk talk for hours.

Thanks towel, this was fun!  I doubt I would ever have watched the film again but for our exchange here. And I got more perspective - art works!
