Losing connectivity on cams and bulbs constantly

I am having the same problem, but it started after the December breach. I have 2 cameras, and both show offline, and only solution is to unplug them. They come back on line, but a day or 2 later, they show off line again. Rebooting isn’t a solution when I am remote. When I do reboot, the sensors have no data during that time.
Is there a patch?

are you sure it isnt just weak wifi signals?
Some internet providers have implemented network “optimizations” which are wonking up peoples set ups.
In my case it was verizon, caused all sorts of disconnects.
As soon as I learned of it, turned it off via their app, bounced the router, most of my connections restored and worked fine again.
Any that acted wonky after were in weak signal zones so added 2 extenders & now all are working fine.
Might be something to investigate.

It isn’t weak wifi. If I reboot the cameras, they go back on line in the same location. But having to reboot the cameras weekly isn’t ideal. So far, they have been on line over a week, even with a router reboot.

Obviously this issue is not community wide and almost only you with that said it is not wyze at all but your router, you need to update your routers software or built in software to 2019. If you have a used or old router your router might not be compatible. Try using a different router maybe buy one then return it after testing to see if it’s the router or modem. If your using a cable companies modem then have them issue you another explain to them that this router is interfering with your security system. If they say upgrade to another router then that could be the issue. If you have 100mb per second speed you need a 100mb per second modem, I have 300 mega bytes per second internet so I had to update my 100mb modem and buy a 300mb modem. I have a netgear gaming tri band router seperated from the modem that has three seperated lines so I can distribute them to family.members and visitors.

This sounds like the same issue i was experiencing. They would go offline and i would have to reboot my camera and bulbs to get them to reconnect. After having my cable provider replace my modem and router with a new unit, i have not had any issues. Now if the camera’s or bulbs go offline due to a power blink or outage, they automatically reconnect without me doing anything. Before, with the older router, if the power went out, the devices would not reconnect unless i rebooted them manually. I would agree with others and try upgrading the equipment. It seems to have resolved my issues
