Probably been discussed before I would like to know how to record a longer video I have 4 pan v3 cameras they all have sd cards in them just wished I could get longer videos

Longer videos where? With SD cards in the camera you can set it to continuous so that it’s recording 24/7. Can you explain your issue more please. There is SD card recordings, cloud recordings and manual recordings to your phone that could all apply here

Obviously I don’t know how to set the camera up for longer videos I have 128 sd cards and a iPhone 14 Pro , I’m still experimenting on where to put the cams for the best coverage, actually going to get a couple more . I really like how they work just would like longer videos. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Go to the camera - gear icon (settings) - Advanced - Select “continuous” under micros SD card. Note you should use an SD card rated for “endurance” when using 24x7 recording.

If you want longer cloud event videos, then get cam plus which allows full motion events to the cloud. Then you can make sure your sensitivity levels are up to catch more movement and hold the event until the motion ends. If you don’t have cam plus, you will only get a still thumbnail of the event.
If you want longer SD card videos, then select “continuous recording” like instructed above.
The two I listed are separate and independent functions of eachother, and you can have one. Both or neither at anytime
I have cam unlimited
In that case there is no way to change the 12 second clips in the cloud (or the 2 week maximum retention) but you can enable continuous recording on the SD card so you can see longer videos. When viewing an event you will be able to choose to see the 12 second cloud clip, or the SD card recording which will go on indefinitely. Just make sure your SD cards are up to the task, I recommend Samsung Pro Endurance. Non-endurance rated ones will work fine they’ll just have a shorter lifespan.
As @Omgitstony mentioned you can tweak the cloud recording length a bit by upping the sensitivity level but then you’ll probably end up with a lot of clips/alerts you don’t want. I don’t have Cam Unlimited but I believe it is 12 seconds after motion stops?

Even with CamPlus, the Cloud video recording length is limited to 5 minutes even if the triggering motion were to continue past the 5 minute mark.
I have SD cards in all of my Wyze cameras and all are set to Continuous Recording. This is what works for me.
Makes sense, I’m actually a bit surprised it is even that long.
