This is a security camera, so security features should be of priority. I recently purchased a camera, because im traveling one part of country and wife is in another. We have them in room. Situation is its 8am with me. 10ish am with her. I call her i tell her hey just woke up. Shes like well earlier this morning the redlight was on long time. I thought it was you. Now keep in mind my phone was dead prior me calling her. So asking wyze to pay attention to this matter beffore we stop using the cams and place the reviews to google, and make a negative review video for youtube. We need a portion that gives you:
IP addresses to devices that have logged into your account. (History of IP addresses)
*Notification if IP address accessing your account is not within trusted IP addresses.
WYze has the ability to make a state of the art camera but refuses to pay attention to this matter. Im eaven questioning if its internal staff snooping into certain peopleās cameras. Now when you have a consumer not trusting his security device thats not good. That is the purpose of the security device. Or did I sign in the fine print that Wyze had access to review live cams?
Account Security: List Logged In Devices - Allow Deauthorization
Due to the sensitive nature of what these cameras might be showing, we should be able to see the IP and device information for any authenticated devices on our account with the ability to force log-off one or all of those devices for re-authentication.
Currently, we can change the password but this doesnāt do anything if an unauthorized user is already logged in.
Additionally, notifications of new device logins would be a plus.

Wyze camera system has been hacked⦠Need to know logging data at precise moments when it happened
I noticed that my cameras were open and recording me while it seems to be close in my application cell phone; my cameras filmed me even though i hadnāt opened them (recordings on SD cards confirm this) . I would like to know how i can have logging data (connected devices, IP addresses,ā¦) to my account at those precises moments and/or if there was another account using my cameras.
Since I discover that, I stopped to you use them and Iām afraid
I asked to Wyze support āhelp centerā, but they canāt help me, they suggested me to add my request here on Wishlistā¦
Hope You can help me.

Welcome to the Wyze Community dujen. The ability to view access information via the Wyze app does not exist yet.
If you have an urgent need for a timely response to a security-related question or concern, please reach out directly to the Wyze Security Team by emailing security@wyze.com.
I have been suggesting this for years, we have No way to be alerted if someone is viewing my camera. The cameras can notify you of an event, just not when the camera is being viewed
Please add a section in the app where you can view when the livestream is being watched, location, and device type for added comfort and security. #wishlist#cameras#app
For security purposes, I believe it would be imperative to have the ability to view all devices that are connected to my account.
Like most other online services, you can typically see all devices under your account. Most of these services even allow you to disconnect some devices, incase they are rogue, or unwanted.
In the case of a Wyze account, I would hope to be able to see all my Wyze cams, and any other Wyze products, along with any mobile devices or computers that are logged into my account for viewing the cameras. I would hope to then have the ability to āde-authā any of these devices, essentially disconnecting them from my account entirely.
Having the ability to perform these actions and view these devices is imperative to a secure account.
In this day and age it does not matter how secure your protocols and passwords are, there is a way around it. Itās just a matter of if and when it will happen.
Not being able to see all connected devices leaves me in a state of discomfort. How am I to know if there was a security breach, and my account had a rogue device?
Having this feature would restore my sense of comfort using this brand as a security system.
Letās be real. This is a huge security FLAW, we are asking to be fixed. Not just a featureā¦
This company should be seriously looked into, considering their lack of efforts to fix this gaping security risk. It is only fair to assume after literally 5 years of ignoring the issue, they are doing it on purpose⦠Whether it is internal employees snooping, or they are sharing access to our cameras to external users⦠Since they donāt care to ease that concern for any of us, it is safe to assume that is exactly what is happening. Be warnedā¦
I am surprised to see that the primary account does not have the ability to see an audit log for their devices.
Iād like to be able to see when a camera has been turned off and by who. Even if itās just a running log of the last 7 days.
Practical example: I live on a family property and there are about 4 other family members who have shared access to my cameras. I have no way of seeing who has turned a camera off and when.
i needed to find out if someone had accessed my camera other than an authorized user, but there are no logs. I contacted support and they told me to āvoteā here. Well, here is my vote. Please implement logging: who accessed, when, from what ip address, device, etc. - all possible info that could be useful in tracking down an intrusion.
We recently had what may have been an unauthorized access of one of our cameras. I was shocked to find that I couldnāt download an access log. I emailed security@wyze.com. It took several rounds to get any information, and each round took several days for Wyze to respond. They were eventually able to provide a list of IP addresses and logins for when the camera was accessed. We did not recognize one of the IP addresses. They were not able to provide a MAC address for the device. Itās possible that the unrecognized IP address was from one of our cell phones, and the apparently unauthorized access was just the camera deploying motion tracking. But we canāt tell.
This is a major security concern, which I see has been noted on these forums for years. We currently have 10 Wyze Cams and three robot vacuums. But I will not by another Wyze device until the security holes are addressed, and if they arenāt I intend to let my Cam Plus subscription lapse and to replace my cameras with a more secure option.
With my wyze deadbolt, i get a accurate log of user access. So it seems, they already have the necessary framework for logging.
I have 6 of my own wyze cameras and 2 that are shared to me from my neighbor. I share a few of mine in return. It would be very useful to have a log to view at least when a camera is turned on or off.
My cameras are often pointing at the sky instead of where they should be pointing. I have shared them with numerous people. I need to see who is moving them and remove their access. This should be available to the primary account holder.
