Lock bolt ignores 'disable during hours' auto lock

I installed my lock bolt last week. It installed pretty easily. Big thumbs up for that!
I added it to my Wyze app and set my finger prints and code.

Decided that the Auto lock feature looked useful and saw you could set a period where it wont auto-lock.
So I set it to auto lock after 5 minutes and set a ‘disable during hours’ of 8am to 6pm. ie during the daytime its not autolocking.

So that seemed to work on the first day.

The next day it just auto locked after 5 minutes, regardless of the time.
I tried disabling the ‘disable’ period, saved settings and set it up again.

It still autolocks after 5 minutes regardless of the time.

Anyone got any good ideas?

(PS I am in New Zealand. I assume the lock gets the time from my phone and doesnt have timezones as a factor?)
(PPS I removed the batteries for a minute to reboot the lock - made no difference)

im not sure what you mean by “set it up again” but often apps get stuck because of cache in your phone’s app settings. you might want to find the wyze app under settings and clear the cache. then if that doesnt work you may have to detete the lock, uninstall & reinstall the app and re-add the lock as a final effort. hope this helps.

Stopped sharing the lock. Deleted the lock from the app.
Took one of the batteries out for 1 minute.
Paired the lock with the app.
Added my code and finger prints.
Shared the lock with my wife.
Set the ‘Auto lock after 5 minutes’
Set the ‘Disable auto-lock’ between 8am and 5pm.
It still autolocks even during that period.

Annoying - but will just live with it - Buggy…
