Lidar blocked notification on robot vacuum

Had this issue with my Wyze vacuum this week. Took it apart and while there was some hair around the motor shaft, the actual issue is the bearing under the rotating head. It’s shot. Got a replacement on the way from Amazon. 6807-ZZ is the bearing number. 47mm OD x 35mm ID x 7mm wide.

Thank you for posting this. I just fixed my vac after several months of hearing “lidar sensor is blocked”. I was hesitant to do anything about it but today was the day! Four pieces of finely shredded paper dislodged the black band and “blocked” the sensor. After clearing and cleaning the thing works! Much appreciated. :+1:t5:

I wanted to chime in and say thank you for posting this part on AliExpress.
I kept getting this notification, but the lidar was clean and spinning freely. The error would randomly pop up. I bought this part and it was a direct replacement. Now my vacuum is working again as intended.

Just wanted to chip in to confirm the AliExpress part does work, I bought it 3 weeks ago and received it this morning, my vacuum is functioning like new again. With the indications posted above it was pretty easy to change and I know nothing to vacuums or electronics. Opening it is the tricky part but once you find which piece to pry open (it’s the one on top, behind the lid) it is easier from there.

Dont waste your time trying to fix the lidar sensor module…the replacements from ali express are the same and work perfectly. I changed mine and is working great.

I just received the replacement lidar sensor shared by 2frank. I paid $16.06 shipped. t is a drop in replacement and it works perfectly. I didn’t want the blue cover of the replacement unit to show through the top turret so I replaced the blue cover with the old black cover and it works perfectly! Thanks 2frank!

Just made an account here to thank @drewdah and @rj.stthomas for their informative posts and pictures. I was able to repair the “Lidar blocked” issue - my robo vac also had gotten its belt unseated.

Cheers
