Just connected my v4 camera to lamp socket adapter. I want to leave light on all the time and set it that way in the settings. But when i leave from viewing camera and go back into that camera the socket is off. Any help would be appreciated.

If you go into the v4 cams settings > accessories > lamp socket, you can change it from “Auto” to “On”. This will keep it on 24/7. There are also other options below it for dusk to dawn.
It is set to on already, but it still is turning itself off. Once i make sure it is set to on in the setting for the socket and then leave from viewing the camera, the light shuts off.

I have four Wyze Cam v4’s, three with lamp sockets and also experiencing the same issue. I think this has been reported before but still isn’t fixed.
The only way I am able to keep the three lamp socket lights on is exit out of the app after setting them on in the cam’s accessories settings.
Once I go into the app and click one of the individual camera’s feeds, it turns the light off on the lamp socket for that camera. I wish this would get fixed.
It doesn’t seem hard to fix from a developer point of view, the app needs to know to not turn the lamp socket off if it detects that it is on already.

Thank you this is a good temp solution. Hope they have a firmware update soon to fix this.
Could you try to reproduce this issue then submit a log in the cameras settings > Wyze support > submit a log, and paste the log number here.
Also submit one for the app in the account tab.

I mentioned this in Discord on 2024/11/03, as I have the exact same issue. I know it did not happen when I first purchased these devices.

I have the same problem …I have 4 lamp sockets controlled by one cam V4…I can’t get the lights to manually stay on
