This has happened before with the app for iPhone. The lamp socket can be toggled on in the app but then navigating to anything else on the app or just closing the app causes the lamp socket to turn off, essentially making it so the socket can never be turned on. I believe this was broken again in the latest update. Anyone else experiencing this?
The lamp socket toggle above the live stream is only temporary. If you want it to stay on, go into the cams settings > accessories > lamp socket, and set it from auto to on
