Welcome to the Forum, @hjohns!
I’m trying to understand your problem, and providing some more details might help others to help you:
- Is this a new camera?
- Are you describing connection issues during setup, or have you already connected the Cam Pan v3 to your Wi-Fi at some point and now you’re having problems maintaining the Wi-Fi connection?
- What steps have you taken from the Cam Pan v3 Troubleshooting section in the Wyze Help Center?
Even if the signal at the camera’s location is strong (i.e., when you’re using something like your phone to gauge signal strength), some Forum users report that Cam Pan v3’s antenna and ability to maintain a signal seems weaker than, say, a regular Cam v3, so if it’s possible to move the Cam Pan v3 closer to your wireless access point while trying to do some troubleshooting, that might make your life a little easier (or it might not, if you’ve already got the camera permanently mounted somewhere).

Also, I noticed that you tagged your topic with cam-outdoor and cam-v3, but your post mentions cam-pan-v3, so I want to make sure we’re on the same page and discussing the correct product. The tagging system here can be frustrating, but I think that accurate tagging can help you get the right on your issue. If you can’t adjust your own tags, then we can ask a Moderator to help so that your topic has a better chance of getting the visibility you want.
