Is there an option to mute just motion sensor notifications while homeinstead of muting all devices?

While the current system allows for muting all notifications and automating triggers, the persistent motion sensor alerts, even when the system is set to “Home” or “Disarm,” are a known point of user dissatisfaction. I have explored muting all notifications, which, unfortunately, includes critical camera and doorbell alerts, an undesirable outcome.

The ideal solution would be a feature to selectively mute motion notifications for a defined period.

You can in automations on your own, create a shortcut, and chose the various actions, such as mute all notifications or for a specified up to one hour period. But still record.

This might meet you needs. Might not too.

The current automation is in place; however, manual notification activation is required. A key enhancement would be the implementation of a configurable desirable timeframe for muting notifications.

Unless, I have configured incorrectly.

The Wyze automations are limited. I use Tasker and it plugins for fancy stuff.

Or Macrodroid for block diagram type automations. Both free to try I think. Tasker has a learning curve.

With Tasker and Autonotification plugin I can schedule, intercept, cancel any or all notifications etc, and then some.

Android.

I haven’t run one of these to test.

Look at automation schedules in automations,

Schedule what, turn off notifications on each camera added to actions, what time, what days.

You may have to turn them back on with another automation similarly.

Whether they work or not is unknown. Presume so.
