It’s a recurring cost however, it will re bill at the regular price of 99.99.

If you get it, you can go into your account portal and tell it to not auto-renew the subscription next year and it won’t.
As towelkingdom said, if you do let it auto-renew, it will renew at the regular price of $99/yr starting a year from now.
