I am wondering if this new doorbell will let me use both the wireless chime and my hard wired chime at once?

With this new doorbell, you get the option to choose to use mechanical and/or the wireless chime if you wired this up?

You also have a third option of “Cameras as Chime” if you also have Wyze Cam models that support this feature.

Or does wiring it up disable the wireless chime option?

My expectation would be that all three options could be simultaneously selected, because “Cameras as Chime” works with Video Doorbell v2 even when I have the home’s mechanical chime enabled and functioning, but that’s a good question, too.

I’m just guessing with my answers because of the way Video Doorbell v2 works with more than one option. I haven’t seen a definitive answer here or in the Reddit AMA when I skimmed that.

Can the doorbell when pressed also send an alert to the cameras so we know someone is at the door?

I’m not sure what you mean by “send an alert to the cameras”, but if you have compatible cameras already, then you could enable the “Cameras as chime” feature:

Not yet, but perhaps by sometime in December, according to the Reddit AMA.
