I want to set up a new V3 cam on my account at my house then eventually transfer it to a relative. For convenience I want train the new user on the camera then when he is ready I’ll set it up for him at his house on his own account and WiFi. The new owner will have a different home address and WiFi.
I think these are the steps I need to take ;
1- Set up a new camera on my account with my WiFi at my house.
2- Train the new person at my house (for convenience).
3- When training is complete delete the V3 from my account.
4- Relocate the V3 to my friends house.
5- Have him download Wyze app on his iPhone.
6- Go through the “set up” process on the app with new user info and WiFi network.
Am I missing anything or do I have it correct?

Makes sense. I believe it will work. Let me share something you might not yet have considered to make it easier on “him”. I did this for a family member. Worked just as predicted.
My family member trusted me with their network name and password. Mostly because they live hundreds of miles away.
In your list, between #3 and #4, I did this.
A. I used an old extra router I had, and connected its Ethernet port to my main router.
B. I configured this extra router with “their” network name and password.
C. I logged in on the new Wyze account
D. I added the new V3 to the Wyze Account, using the new network name and password.
E. Ran the firmware update for the V3.
Now, when we performed your #4, they took the camera home, plugged it in, and when they opened their Wyze account TA-DAAAAA, the camera was already there. Working.
The bonus is, I simply unplugged power on the “extra router”. If the need arises, I can configure another device, another Wyze or something else, “here”, to work 'there."

You have the process correct. Just note that when the cam is installed on the new account, none of the settings will be saved from the old account and will need to be configured again.
@Sam_Bam’s idea is brilliant! This way, all the settings you change on the cam during training are already saved to the new account and the Cam is Battle Tested and ready for action!
What’s great is you don’t even need an extra router to do this. Just open up the Guest Network on your router with that same SSID and Password they use on their router.
Even if you can’t replicate the SSID\PW on your network, using the Trainee’s phone and account to install it to their account on your network would save all the settings. Then they just take it home, do a new setup, and the cam is ready on their network having already been installed to their account.
