IFTTT now charging to use Alexa to turn on cameras

Is there a free way to still do this?

  • Wyze rules allow this for free.
  • Using Alexa directly allows this for free.
  • Using Google Home allows this for free.
  • Using the Home Assistant 3rd Party API plugin allows this for free.

IFTTT is a greedy company I very much dislike now that charges companies to be allowed on their platform, then turns around and also charges users to use something already being paid for. Bleh, there are way better platforms IMO.
