OK, CAN I JUST PLUG MY WYZE CABLE INTO A COMMON USB POWER BAR TO POWER UP MYWYZE CAMERAS, OR WILL THEY FRY? I HAVE 10
V2, 5 v3, AND 3 OUTDOOR CAMS. IT WOULD BE NICE TO TAKE A CAM ON THE ROAD WITH ME. PLEASE ADVISE. THANKS
Several forum members here do the same as a dash cam. As long as the cigarette outlet to USB adapter puts out at least 1A, it will work. You’ll need to have a cell connection and a WiFi hotspot to start up the Wyze app and get the cam recording. If you have an SD card installed and the cam set to continuous recording, you can terminate the cell to save data once you get it started. It will record until power is cut to the cam. You may wish to do a quick road test before heading out on the road to record memories.

I currently have two V2 cameras and one V3 in my truck using a four port cigarette lighter to USB adapter. Works fine.
