I have a time lapse running which lasts several days.
I want to view what it has recorded so far to be sure its working as expected.
How do I do this? Cam v4, android.

As far as I know, you can’t.
Not possible. I tried years ago. The camera won’t finalize the processing until it’s done. If you try you might cancel it
Madness. I just have to trust that after 7 days it will have recorded something that’ll never happen again. Great!!!
I guess I will run a separate time-lapse each day
That’s actually what I usually do with long time lapses. I will set up several smaller ones. It makes it less likely to fail.
One risk of doing a really long one, like for 7 days like you’re saying is that what happens if there is a power outage or surge? If the camera is interrupted at all in the middle of the time lapse, you might lose the entire thing instead of just a small time period.
Better to be careful and set up several. Remember to start the new one on time.
Actually, the way I will usually do it, is I will set it up for a long time, and then every so often. Often like once a day or something I will set an alarm on my phone to remind me to go end the time lapse early and restart it. That way, if I forget, it will still keep doing the time lapse and I won’t miss anything. It only ends the time lapse. When I go tell it to end early. And then tell it to restart a new time lapse. Then, once the entire project is complete, I will then add all of the separate files together into a single time lapse. It’s worked great for me to do it that way.
