Except for my doorbell cams, most other cams that have the motion warning announcement are cutting off the announcement mid-way thru it. This is a very annoying occurrence. Is there a way this can be fixed? I know it’s programmed into the firmware, but there has to be a way to correct this malfunction. Surely, Wyze must know this exist, I can’t be the only user with this defect.
UPDATE: Just found a prevous conversation related to this and I was the creator in Oct. 2024.
Hopefully, the responses this time will produce a more concrete solution.

Does this cutoff happen every time there is multiple detected events back to back? I wonder if a new event that follows a short event triggers a new motion warning there for cuts off the previous played message. To increase the length of events to minimize the previous, I’d up your motion sensitivity and okay around with the detection zone in hopes of longer events. Also, maybe playing with the physical aom of the camera may help also.
Thanks. Happens with single and multiple events. The cams no longer announce the full warning message. Single and multiples are cut off regardless of sequence. Multiples get fewer words of the warning announced.
