@UserCustomerGwen - Can I be part of the Google Home Beta Test? I have a Home and a Hub and several mini’s - Along with several Wyze Cams and 2 sets of Wyze Sense devices running.

How is the effort to move away from facebook for the beta testing? I am interested in testing but choose not to have a facebook account. I am interested enough that i may create on depending on how close/far away you are to ditching facebook.

We’re looking into another potential option but I don’t know if it’s a good fit or what the ETA would be. Given that the wait list for testing is so long, I’d recommend filling out the form and just indicate that you would be willing to make a Facebook account in the Facebook email question. That way we’ll know to include you if we get to your entry but haven’t moved from Facebook and if we’ve made the transition by then we will be able to ignore that anyway.

also is it purely first come first serve? do they look at how active people have been on the forum? Or what type of things they have posted?

There are very few exceptions to the first-come-first-serve rule. Forum and social media posts don’t factor into it. On occasion, someone from the dev side may work directly with someone to resolve an issue and that person may receive priority after they request it. However, we’ve had less than a handful of those because our goal is to let the people that have been waiting the longest work with us first.

Same here with the Facebook thing… would be totally cool with making an account to be a product test subject! Please let me know if I should re-submit or could you check on that for me… I’d be able to supply my email if needed, thanks!

I have officially purchased 9 V2’s 3 sensor starter kits, 1 sensor kit and the 1 package of bulbs. I am a app beta tester and applied for hardware testing in about a month’s time Do I qualify already lol.

Beautiful, I am so happy and excited with what Wyze is doing. Im on the poor side and always wanted security and a version of a smart home. Thanks to you guys I am able to do that with my home and my wife’s home. All because youve made it affordable for us and believe me me I will do anything to help out in your mission statement.

I’ve lived in poverty and before Wyze I never expected to have the ability to join the smart home side of consumer tech. It was a luxury and an expensive one at that. When I was told the price of Wyze Cam before launch, my eyes nearly bugged out of my skull. It made everyone in my interview laugh! I believe in Wyze and our mission and I’m happy to hear that we’ve been able to help you join the smart home community!

I have been in the home security/automation business for years. I was never pleased with what I installed but it was the only thing available. I even started to make my own hardware recently. Wyze has fulfilled most of my wants in security and automation. I would love to help them move forward so I don’t have to do it myself
