I’m not technically inclined, I’ve noticed under assigned cameras; there’s my option, however, there’s one that shows “unassigned camera”. I only have one camera in my tiny apartment and it’s assigned. Could it be that someone else is tapped into my camera? Any advice is empathetically welcomed.
Where in the app are you seeing this message? I have a guess, but I’d rather not guess.

In the notification section, when I try to select the correct notifications there’s those two options. My assigned camera and the one that says unassigned.
The blue light; which turns red, when you’re in your camera has been turning red now when I walk past it. Is that happening bc of the software update?
Screen capture of what you’re talking about. That answer does not make any sense - at least out of context.
I assume you are talking about a V3 (since you tagged Cam-V3). Normal operation. The camera status LED (if enabled) will turn red when either the camera is being watched via the app, OR is uploading event data to the Wyze servers. When you walk past the camera, it detects motion, and uploads it.

The blue light turning red when I walk past it, never happened before. I’m also experiencing issues with my landlord regarding hidden cameras in my entire apartment, I’m trying to figure out if he’s hacked into my camera. Especially bc it appears to be two cameras/ devices available. Mine is assigned and the other is not.
I am moving, just not as fast as I’d like to. Can he have connected an unassigned camera under my account? His nickname is McGyver. I appreciate your time and responses. Tysm!

Do you have Wyze Two Factor Authentication turned on? That would make it harder for someone to get in to your Wyze account.
Do you see what I mean? The one above says unassigned and then the second one is assigned. I’m new to this. In my day we never had a need for cameras in the home. I’m not tech savvy at all!! Your assistance and patience is greatly appreciated. Tysm.

Yes I do. I believe, I have a better understanding now. It’s an option if I wanted to use without the cam plus coverage. I guess that’s it. Steven, I really appreciate your assistance and patience. You’ve been very helpful. Thank you!
